In seventh grade, I found myself immersed in a cause that would shape the next few years of my academic journey. My passion for the Korean language was more than just an interest; it was a deep belief that it deserved a place in my school's curriculum. I vividly remember the day I stood on the stage as the runner-up of the Speech Contest. My speech was about a vision that Korean should be offered as a foreign language at our school.
This passion led me to take the next step ofcreating a petition to the president of my school, advocating for the inclusion of Korean in the curriculum. I meticulously gathered support through a petition, both from fellow students and teachers, and pushed forward with my plan, gathering hundreds of signatures.
